Courtney Seligman Author / Professor of Astronomy
Professor Seligman has taught astronomy at Long Beach City College for nearly forty years, and the discovery that he has a considerable talent for writing fiction was a recent, albeit pleasant surprise. In the last few years, he has developed plotlines for nearly two dozen novels, and is well on his way to completing half a dozen of them, but due to the demands of his first career, has only completed one novel so far. That book, the heartwarming and humorous romance Two Pigs and a Chicken, was published in April of 2004. He is currently working on a series of sequels, the Erindale Tales, the first of which is titled The Maiden All Forlorn.
In addition to the Erindale Tales, Professor Seligman is writing a series of fantasy adventures set in the bronze-age Kingdom of the Sun. The first publication in that series will be the romantic adventure Ialia and the Flyer.
For those fortunate enough to read passages from Professor Seligman's Kingdom of the Sun and Bridge Worlds series last year, the disappearance of those passages may be cause for concern. Rest assured that they and a number of other excerpts will reappear on this site once publication dates are determined.
